Who We Are

  • The East Alabama Code Officials Association was established in 1998. 
  • We meet the second Thursday of each month, at various locations. 
  • We are a sub-chapter of the Code Officials Association of Alabama (COAA)
    • COAA was formed in 1968 and was the first charter member of the Southern Building Code Congress International
  • East Alabama Code Officials Association consists of:
  • State Licensing Board Investigators
      • Building Officials
      • Code Enforcement Officers
      • Permit Technicians
      • Contractors

 

Any other Building Trades are welcome to join!

Why We Are Here

  • To promote maximum safety for life, health, & property at a minimum building cost through education and training of Code Officials.
